While making breakfast last week, Heaven asked me “why do the bananas have brown spots on them?” I was immediately stoked b/c I remembered a project I seen on an episode of Sid The Science Kid called, My Mussy Banana.
I came across a video on youtube that does the experiment with some pumpkins if your interested in that.
After watching the STSK episode we started our observation of the banana. Over the course of the week each day we discussed:
- The look of the banana
- The texture of the banana
- The smell of the decomposed banana
Here are the pictures from the experiment through the week.
