In my life this week…

I moved my blog from Blogger to Worpress ALONE. It was a challenge but I think I was able to figure it all out. Everything looks alright to me. If you find any problems please let me know.

In our homeschool this week…

We have been working on our homeschool room. Our 1st day is on the 22nd.

Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…

Take your time and everything will fall into place. Do what works for you and your family and remember to have fun.

I am inspired by…

All of the homeschool moms who teach more than 1 child. I am so nervous to teach 2 this year and some moms have 6 or more.

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

We are heading back to Cedar Point this weekend with 2 outta 3 of my kids and my niece.

Questions/thoughts I have…

Any tips on how to work into a schedule with 2 kids a year apart would be helpful.

Things I’m working on…

Getting everything set for our 2011/12 school year.

I’m grateful for…

For my husband for making all of this possible for us.

In my life this week….

We have been getting prepared for summer break. This week were going to start a bucket list. I have seen so many around the web and think the kids would enjoy it.

My favorite thing this week was…

Watching the caterpillar in his cocoon. It’s amazing and I cant wait to see if it’s a moth or a butterfly inside.

Places I’m going…

We will be taking JJ out to eat for his 5th grade graduation. He is now off to Middle School.

Things I’m working on…

1. Making a bucket list
2. Making soap
3. Making butter

In my life this week….

I recovered from an acute abscess in my jaw and cheek. It was awful pain but I’m about 95% better now so it’s good.

My favorite thing this week was…

Spending time outside with the kids. You never know what you’ll find in my backyard!

Places I’m going…

I’m not even sure the day, this week was a little fuzzy. Think I will be staying home.

Things I’m working on…

1. Planning our trip top NYC next month
2. Tooth Decay Project-warning it’s gross
3. Recovering


Books I’m reading…

Okay, I’m not really reading any books YET. Does anyone have any good suggestions for me? I am soooooo ready for some good summer read’n! <–left Sue’s answer

In my life this week…
I flew to FL on an emergency flight to see my grandma at Hope Hospice. I ended up in the Florida ER for my broken tooth and flew home yesterday to have my tooth removed. At 4am this morning Grandma went to Heaven. R.I.P Grandma- 1/12/27 – 5/27/11. I’m Glad I was able to see you. I love you and we will meet again. Thanks for the prayers everyone! In the past 6 years 4 people in my family who were close to me have passed away, so it makes its harder on me to deal with this.

Now you will be with your son. LOVE YOU Grandma and Uncle John

I pray that God will guide my ways.

In my life this week…
We celebrated Heavens 3rd birthday, booked the hotel for NYC, and made flights for my mom to go to FL b/c my grandma is in the hospital. Grandma has made it out of a Concentration Camp during WW2, breast cancer, bone caner, heart attacks, strokes and is now in the hospital for failing kidneys and pneumonia. Prayers would be appreciated. Thanks!

MOMMY AND THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

In my life this week…
I have decided my husband and I will head to NYC in July for my birthday. I’m pretty excited. I have a list of places on my bucket list to see!
 
In our homeschool this week…
We have been using Cullen’s ABC’s for some fun with songs and crafts. This site works for us b/c I am NOT a singer =)

This week we will head over my moms to see her for Mother’s Day and JJ will be over Saturday.

My favorite thing this week was…
Realizing my Swagbucks will come in handy for our next vacation. If your not a member you should be. SUPER EASY

We made it home safe and I have done nothing but try to recover and get back into my routine.

We our finished with school for now but have been working on updating some of our projects.

Thomas J’s 2nd Birthday was yesterday so we had lots of visits from Grandmas.

Finally being back home after a week and celebrating my little mans special day =)

What’s working/not working for us…

My broken follower box is NOT working for me. I’ve emailed Google and Blogger. All that’s left to do is cry (JK) or you can subscribe via email =)

Homeschool questions/thoughts I have…

How do you discipline your kids? Any tips would be great b/c I have tried it all. I have a 3 yr old going on 13 and it isn’t pretty.
