After 23 days our caterpillar emerged from his cocoon. Thanks to the helpful comments for letting me know chances are it was a moth. I might have been disappointed if I didn’t know before hand. All in all, it was very cool to witness.

This past weekend when JJ was here, he found a caterpillar. I had him bring it in and we put it in the bug catcher with a couple leaves. The next day I went to check on it and noticed somethings were starting to change.

It had pooped then started to build what looked like a spider web. Later I went to show my husband but the caterpillar was fast and already made his home.
Day 2
I will update when/if he comes out of his cocoon. I’m not sure how long he will be in there but I dont think it will be to long. Today is day 23 and it came out! I will have a update post soon.
