Body and 5 Senses Unit

We finished our weekly letter units last month so for the past couple weeks, we have got the chance to do some cool themes. This week we focused on the body and 5 senses. Of course I took to Pinterest for awesome ideas and was happy to find this FREE lesson.

The Body

My Mom just happened to give the kids these cool toys from Burger King and it went perfect!

 

Other things we did

  • Nature walk to listen to sounds and to see what we could find
  • Time4learning.com
  • Talked about eating healthy and why exercise is important

The human body we have is called- Edu Science Human Body Model with Squishy Parts
and can purchased at your local Toys R Us

  1. Looks like fun! I will have to check out the human body toy; my 5 year old is interested in the human body and would love to get his hands on that!

  2. BK, really? We may have to switch from McD’s (now featuring Green Lantern). I love the doggy hide and seek. What a fun way to learn!

  3. My son, Quentin (7) has that same human body model and he loves it. Looks like a great study!
