2011 Summer Bucket List

We FINISHED!!!! Here is an update of our Summer Bucket List. I’m so proud we were able to accomplish it all plus some =)

 

 

This past week JJ ended his school year so we decided to come up with a bucket list with fun things to do this summer. We started off by making a list of 50 things from cooking to visiting somewhere.Besides whats on the list we have Tuesday Night movie night the week’s JJ is here.

Our List

  1. Go to the Movies-Final Destination 8/15
  2. Fireworks at Cedar Point 7/4
  3. Build a table with Dad 8/3
  4. Father/Son Race Cars 8/10
  5. Father/Son Movie Night 8/2
  6. Build the snakes new homes 8/11
  7. Ride the Power Tower 8/28
  8. Walk the dog 7/15
  9. Make ice cream sandwiches 7/30
  10. Visit a beach 7/31 and 8/28
  11. Have a water balloon fight 8/12,8/16,8/17
  12. Visit a Grandma 7/20, 7/22 and 7/31
  13. Wii family night  8/10
  14. Go out for ice cream 8/25
  15. Wii family night with cousins 8/12
  16. Pool Time 7/16
  17. Make an obstacle course 8/12, 8/16,8/27
  18. Make Hand Prints w/ Salt Dough 7/16
  19. Make a catapult 8/25
  20. Step Mom/ Step Son pool time 7/19
  21. Give Benny a bath (dog) 7/13
  22. Ride 4-wheeler 7/18
  23. Photo Scavenger Hunt 7/28
  24. Make a Rocket 8/13
  25. Make a time capsule 8/26
  26. Make a countdown calendar for something your looking forward to 8/3
  27. Build an indoor fort 8/17
  28. Scary Movie night 6/29
  29. Make a Parachute 8/17
  30. Summer Fun Day 8/16
  31. Get Fireworks 7/29
  32. Make Cookies 8/15
  33. Go to Cedar Point 7/31 and 7/14
  34. Have a sleep over 7/27 , 7/28, 8/12,8/13,8/14,8/15,8/16,8/26,8/27,8/28,8/29
  35. Make a root beer float 8/13
  36. Go to Cedar Point 1 last time before school starts 8/28
  37. Drive In  8/11
  38. Make a pizza 8/16
  39. Nerf war 8/17
  40. Basketball Tourney 8/17
  41. Make soda popsicles 8/27
  42. Rock Band night  8/1
  43. Basketball game 6/30
  44. Game Night 7/13
  45. Hide n Seek in the dark 8/27
  46. Make a family dinner 8/16
  47. JJ make Dinner  7/19 and 7/26
  48. Father/Son Night 7/15
  49. Daddy/Kids Play-date 8/11
  50. Spend the day with Grandma 8/14

After we made our list I divided them into 3 categories and color coordinated them.

I was able to get some great ideas from this site. Once everything was ready I put the activities on colored paper and used a pencil to roll them up. I added a piece of tape to insure there wont be peaking..

We will start picking from the bowl tomorrow when JJ comes back over.

  10. Great list! We did a photo scavenger hunt last year and it went over so well.
