When we first started homeschooling we didn’t have much to work with. I had a big empty space and so many things on my “I want to buy that” list. In the past year our room has changed dramatically!
The way the room used to look
I’ve came across some awesome sites that give great tips to save some room. Instead of tacking to my wall, we now have 2 wires and clips to hang artwork. We also have rain gutter bookshelves so we can save some space on the shelves on the floor.

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Your school room is so cute! It will change and grow every year. But that's the fun part to me.

Oh my goodness, I'm super jealous of your school room! We do our work in the kitchen, and I have crammed what we need on a daily basis in the corner of our breakfast nook. It's a bit unsightly and terribly unorganized, but it works (for now).
I love the rain gutter book shelves! Great idea!
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving awesome comments =)
Wow – I'm so jealous of you having a whole room dedicated to homeschooling! We do ours on the dining room table, and the results aren't pretty…
Love your room! We just finished ours, so nice to have. Enjoy!
I adore your family tree! What a great idea. I hope you have a fantastic school year!

LOVE it! So beautiful! Happy schooling!
WOW! I am not planning on homeschooling but this room makes me want to! beautful!
What an absolutely wonderful room you’ve put together! I love that little nook in the corner. Great whiteboard idea- just one question re that. Is the board permanently place on the wall or can it be removed? Also, can you explain how you placed the rain gutters on the wall. Is it strong enough for heavier books? Thanks so much for posting your schoolroom. Have a great year!!!
