Since I didnt have this book I watched the video with Heaven.

After, we talked about birds and their homes. John John seemed to be interested so I split the activities.

We tried mud and failed so we went with using molding clay we made ourselves.
Added some leaves and twigs..
and waited for it to dry

Cut out 2 bird shapes, fill with newspaper and glue together. Add beak and eyes.After I had Heaven use pom poms on one side and paint on the other.We are going to be starting Art hour this week using this great book.
